STATE SCHOOLS SPLIT

Both Oklahoma State and Oklahoma played their regular season home finales last Saturday. Oklahoma St and Texas Tech played one of their classic shootouts in STillwater. The Red Raiders had just enough to hold the Pokes at arm's length in a 56-48 win. True Freshman Mialuawki Smith scorched the turf with 326 passing yards and 2 Tds with a pick in the defeat. It was Ok State's 8th straight loss. They'll finish up on Black Friday against Colorado. It was a clash of two of the most iconic programs in college football in Norman on Saturday night with Alabama in town. It was the beatdown that most expected, but not the way most thought. Oklahoma controlled the game throughout in a 24-3 dismantiling of the Crimson Tide. OU led 10-3 at halftime before true freshman corner Eli Bowen intercepted a Jalen Milroe pass less than a minute into the 3rd quarter. OU scored to make it 17-3. On the next Bama possession, Kip Lewis put the nail in the coffin..... That was Toby Rowland on Sooner Sports. Here's how it sounded on the OU Spainish network..... Jackson Arnold rushed it for 131 yards. Xavier Robinson had 107 rushing yards and two TDs. The Sooners defense held Alabama to 3 points, snapping a 182 game streak in which the Tide had scored 10+ points, an SEC record. Ou finishes the regular season on the road in Death Valley against LSU Saturday night
