Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma State Representative Nick Archer of District 55 and from Elk City has been recognized by the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce with a “Legislature of the Year” award. The accolade reflects his strong support for economic growth, free enterprise, and statewide job creation.

Archer, who was elected in 2022, earned an overall grade of a B on the Chamber’s 2025 legislator scorecard, based on both his voting record and his advocacy for pro-growth legislation. The grading system evaluates lawmakers on key votes and their efforts sponsoring or debating bills that drive Oklahoma’s economy.

Another local lawmaker, HD?57 Representative Anthony Moore of Clinton, also received a B, highlighting bipartisan momentum in support of policies aimed at boosting the state’s business-friendly environment.

The Chamber praised both men for promoting initiatives that encourage investment and protect free enterprise. Their contributions were essential in securing the Legislature’s overall recognition for advancing Oklahoma’s economic interests.

Why it matters:

Economic impact: By supporting pro-growth bills and job-creation measures, Archer is helping to strengthen communities across western Oklahoma.

Momentum: With both Archer and Moore earning solid grades, Oklahoma’s freshman class is shaping up as a strong voice for business-friendly policies.
