Oklahoma Aerospace Enters New Era with Dual Rebrand

Burns Flat, OK – A press release provided by Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority outlines a major step forward for aerospace development in Western Oklahoma, highlighted by a dual rebranding effort and state-level merger.

OSIDA announced a refreshed identity alongside the renaming of the Clinton-Sherman Industrial Airpark. The facility in Burns Flat will now be known as Infinity One Oklahoma Spaceport.

According to OSIDA, the changes are part of a strategic merger with the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics, designed to strengthen Oklahoma’s position in the global aerospace market.

The OSIDA rebrand includes updated mission, vision, and values, along with a new visual identity meant to reflect a more streamlined, statewide approach to aerospace investment and tenant support.

The newly named Infinity One Oklahoma Spaceport honors the site’s historical significance. OSIDA noted the name references its original Federal Aviation Administration designation as the nation’s first inland space launch corridor.

State officials point to more than $30 million in recent investment as a sign of Oklahoma’s growing commitment to aerospace expansion. The Burns Flat site features a 13,503-foot runway and is positioned to attract both commercial and government aerospace operations.

In addition to infrastructure, OSIDA emphasized Oklahoma’s business-friendly environment, including incentives and workforce development programs aimed at supporting long-term industry growth.

With the rebranding and merger now in place, OSIDA says Oklahoma is working to remove barriers and position itself as a hub for future aerospace innovation.

The announcement signals continued momentum for Western Oklahoma, as efforts increase to attract new tenants and expand the region’s role in the next generation of space and aviation development.
