Clinton, OK – Clinton’s business and civic leaders gathered Friday night at the Frisco Center for the annual Clinton Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet, where longtime community leader Ken Baker was honored as the 2025 Clinton Citizen of the Year.

Baker, chairman of the Clinton Hospital Authority, has been affiliated with Clinton Regional Hospital for more than four decades. He remains at the forefront of efforts to keep the hospital operating while also serving as chairman of the Clinton Economic Development Authority and as a deacon in his church. A banker by trade, Baker has been a constant presence in Clinton civic life for many years.

The banquet also recognized several other community members for their contributions:

Community Impact Award – Kevin and Donna Rother

Volunteer of the Year – Animal Control Officer Heather Estrada

Goldie Pettle Award – Mary Beth Mahanay

AMBUCS Woman of the Year – Vicki Littke

Rotary Business People of the Year – Clint and Shelley Lively

Ambassador of the Year – Lucas Martinez

The evening highlighted the spirit of service that continues to shape Clinton’s progress, with Baker’s recognition serving as the capstone of the celebration.
