Elk City, OK – The Elk City Police Department has announced multiple arrests in connection with two separate child neglect and abuse cases over the weekend. Authorities say these incidents have raised significant concerns about child safety in the community, and they are committed to ensuring justice for the victims.

In a statement released by ECPD, officials emphasized the importance of vigilance and community involvement in identifying and reporting signs of child abuse and neglect. They urged residents to take action if they notice any indications of mistreatment, such as unexplained injuries, malnutrition, emotional distress, withdrawal, or unsafe living conditions.
