The Oklahoma Broadband Office (OBO) has been awarded an $11,233,311 grant from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) to help new internet users effectively access and utilize online services. This funding aims to equip Oklahomans with the skills, technology, and resources needed to thrive in the digital economy.

The grants administered by OBO will connect over 70,000 homes and businesses in 57 of the state’s 77 counties.
The project launch marks a significant milestone in closing the digital divide and fostering economic opportunities throughout the state.
