Washita County, OK — The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) seized more than 15,000 marijuana plants and made one arrest Thursday, November 5, during a raid at a marijuana cultivation facility approximately 5.5 miles south of Clinton in Washita County.
According to OBN, agents with the agency's Marijuana Enforcement Teams executed a search warrant at Cultivation World LLC, located at 10834 N. 2248 Road, as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal marijuana cultivation.
Investigators allege the operation was using an OBN registration obtained fraudulently through a "straw ownership" scheme, in which an individual is used to conceal the true ownership of a business.
During the search, agents seized 15,703 marijuana plants and 114 pounds of processed marijuana. One person was arrested, and three additional individuals were taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The operation involved assistance from the Washita County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Washita County District 2 Commissioner's Office.
OBN officials said the investigation remains ongoing.
The agency encourages residents to report suspected drug or human trafficking activity by sending an anonymous message to OBN through its official Facebook page.
