Arapaho, OK – More details have been released in the investigation of an illegal marijuana grow operation shut down earlier this month near Arapaho.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Custer County District Court, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agents had been investigating Yaqin Lin LLC, located at 10050 U.S. Highway 183, before executing a search warrant at the property on June 15.
OBN previously reported that agents seized 5,414 marijuana plants and 365.8 pounds of processed marijuana from the location. Court documents now say agents had inspected the grow twice before the search warrant was served, once in December 2025 and again in April 2026.
During those inspections, agents reported multiple alleged violations, including a lack of cameras, grow rooms without proper security, missing records, and marijuana plants and processed marijuana that allegedly did not have required METRC or batch tags.
The affidavit states OBN agents identified Qiu Jing Huang, 52, as the on-site manager of the grow. Huang was later arrested and charged in Custer County District Court.
Court records show Huang is charged with trafficking in illegal drugs, cultivation of a controlled substance, aggravated manufacture of a controlled dangerous substance, and acquiring proceeds from drug activity.
According to the affidavit, agents found large bundles of U.S. currency in a bedroom believed to be occupied by Huang. The affidavit states the money was taken to the Custer County District Attorney’s Office, where the County Treasurer conducted an official count.
The filing also outlines alleged discrepancies in the business’s marijuana tracking records. According to court documents, OBN analysts reviewed METRC reports for Yaqin Lin LLC from December 1, 2025, through May 6, 2026, and found discrepancies involving outgoing transfers, incoming plants, and reported inventory.
The affidavit says Huang told agents she believed the owner was an American man on the registration, but she did not provide more identifying information during the interview.
OBN agents, the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, and the District 2 Drug Task Force assisted with the search warrant.
The case remains pending in Custer County District Court. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
