THUNDER BLOW MASSIVE LEAD TO MINNESOTA

For the first 44 minutes last night inside the Paycom Center, it looked like business as usual for the OK City Thunder. After a Jalen Williams bucket OKC led 121-105 with just under 4 minutes left. Unfortunately from there Minnesota scored the last 16 to send the game into OT and eventually win 131-128. It’s the Thunder’s first loss since the All Star break. They’ll get tonight off before hitting the road to Brooklyn to face the Nets tomorrow night.

TRES HILL LEADS OCU TO DOMINATE WIN IN TEXAS

Former Big Elk state championship golfer Tres Hill lit it up today in Texas. Tres made 9 birdies and a single bogey en route to an 8 under round of 64 to pull away from the rest of the field in the Texas Invitational played at Gentle Creek in Prosper, TX. Tres shot rounds of 72-70-64 to finish 10 under for 3 rounds, good enough for a 5 shot win individually. Tres’s OCU Stars blew away the field in the team competition shooting 19 under which was 38 shots better than anyone else in the field.
