HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STATE FINALS

The first of 12 high school football State Championships was handed out this afternoon at UCO. For the first time all 12 State title tilts will be played at UCO over the next 10 days. This afternoon the Dewar Dragons won their second State Championship after blowing out the Laverne Tigers 44-12. Laverne led 12-8 before Dewar poured it on, scoring the last 36 points of the game. Dewar has won 2 of the last 5 Class B state titles. Both championships were won against Laverne in the finals.

THUNDER IN TORONTO TONIGHT

The Oklahoma City Thunder hit the court tonight to start a stretch of 6 of 8 away from the Paycom Center. Tonight they're in Canada to face Toronto. It's a homecoming for SGA and Lu Dort tonight against the Raptors. Ok City is atop the WEstern Conf standings at 16-5. They earned a slot in the knockout round of the NBA Cup next Tuesday at home against Dallas. You can hear Thunder/Raps tonight on 98.1fm and 1240am. Pregame gets started at 5 with the early tip scheduled for 6:30.

HUGE NFC NORTH CLASH TONIGHT

There's a huge clash tonight to start Week 14 on the NFL slate. The Green Bay Packers are headed to Detroit to play the division leading Lions. Detroit won at Green Bay a month ago 24-14. The Lions are a game ahead of Minnesota, two clear of Green Bay headed into the game tonight. The Packers would basically be eliminated from winning the division with a loss tonight. Kickoff in Motown is scheduled for 7:15
