FAST PICTCH & FALL BASEBALL REGIONAL AND FAST PITCH SUPER REGIONAL RESULTS

Despite the wet conditions around the area we have had some games played so far in fast pitch softball. Merritt’s Super Regional was moved to Elk City due to the wet conditions. The Oilerettes won the first game of the best of 3 series over Dibble 7-4. Adisyn Krueger, Jaeden Krueger, and Kiptyn Dyer each had two hits apiece, including each going deep for the Oilerettes. Adisyn Krueger went the distance in the circle giving up 4 runs on 8 hits while striking out 4 with 3 walks. In game 2 Merritt shutout Dibble 7-0 behind Adisyn Krueger’s complete game shutout. The Merritt Oilerettes are now headed for the Class 2AIn Class A Regional action so far today, Canute moved their games to Elk City as well. The Trojanettes clipped Healdton 6-4 in their first game. Sayde Allen hit a solo homerun for one of her 3 hits. Kynli Carlson, Paisley Visneski, and Lily Woodson added two hit apiece for Canute. They’ll play a winner’s bracket game this evening against Navajo. The Lady Indians blanked Shattuck 4-0. In another Class A Regional game over in Arapaho, the defending state champion Lady Indians breezed past Elmore City-Pernell 11-0. Kelsey Garibay and Madi Lockhart had two hits apiece for AB. Lauren McHenry knocked in 4 and pitched all 4 shutout innings surrendering a couple hits with 6 strikeouts and a walk. AB will play Davenport in winner’s bracket action later this evening.   

The Elk City Elkettes are on the field right now for 4A Regional action down at Lone Grove. The Elkettes are facing off against Bridge Creek. The Brown and White won 2 of the 3 regular season games between these two. It’s been a great start for Elk City this afternoon. The Elkettes put up a 5 spot in the bottom of the first to lead 5-0 after one inning of play. They’ll play undefeated Lone Grove also this evening following the conclusion of the Bridge Creek game. Weatherford’s playing their regional down in Plainview. The Lady Eagles soared past Chickasha this afternoon 14-4. They’ll play a winner’s bracket game later tonight against Plainview.

Clinton’s playing at Newcastle. They fell to Cache 13-0.
