Driver Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash South of Snyder

Kiowa County, OK – A 55-year-old man from Ripon, California, was injured Saturday night in a crash two miles south of Snyder, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash occurred at 10:39 p.m. on U.S. Highway 62 near North 2260 Road in Kiowa County. The vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck a railroad crossing pole.

The driver’s name has been withheld pending notification of family. He was the only person in the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt, troopers said.

No fatalities were reported. The crash remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
