Flu Vaccine Drive-Thru Coming to Jackson County Expo

The Penny News 924

Altus, OK – The Jackson County Health Department will host a Flu Vaccine Drive-Thru on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Jackson County Expo, located at 412 Todd Lane in Altus.

This convenient indoor drive-thru clinic allows community members to receive their flu vaccination without leaving their vehicles. No appointment is necessary, and vaccines will be available while supplies last at no out-of-pocket cost.

"Flu vaccination is one of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones during flu season," said Debra Johnson, Interim Regional Administrative Director. "By offering this drive-thru format, we're making it as easy as possible for Jackson County residents to get protected."

Flu vaccination is recommended annually for everyone six months of age and older. When more people are vaccinated, there is less opportunity for the flu to spread in families, schools, and throughout the community. High-dose flu vaccines will be available for individuals 65 years and older.

For more information, contact the Jackson County Health Department at (580) 482-7308.
