Cloud Chief firefighter retires after 20 years in service

Cloud Chief, OK — Landon Jones has retired from the Cloud Chief Fire Department after 14 years with the department and 20 years in the fire service overall.

Jones joined Cloud Chief in 2011. Before that he served two years with the Mountain View Fire Department and four years with the Cordell Fire Department.

Cloud Chief assigns each firefighter a unique badge number that is retired when they leave. Jones carried Badge No. 5, which now retires with him.

The department and the Cloud Chief community thanked Jones for his years of faithful service and wished him well in retirement.
