Weatherford, OK – The Office of Public Relations & Marketing at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) received five awards from the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association (OCPRA) during its annual summer conference. The awards recognize a range of creative and strategic projects produced by the team over the past year.

The SWOSU Office of Public Relations & Marketing leads a wide range of projects for the university, including branding, social media strategy, admissions marketing, media production and internal communications. The awards were announced at the 2025 OCPRA Summer Conference, where higher education professionals from across the state gathered to discuss trends in public relations, marketing and communications. Each year, OCPRA’s awards program highlights work produced by teams from Oklahoma’s colleges and universities, spanning two-year colleges, four-year regional institutions and research universities.

SWOSU earned honors in categories that included recruitment, event promotion, campaign strategy, and digital tools for content planning. The university received two Grand Awards, two Excellence Awards, and one Achievement Award.
