Weatherford, OK – An 81-year-old Weatherford woman died Thursday afternoon following a crash in Custer County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened at 2:47 p.m. on State Highway 54 at the South Frontage Road.
The driver, identified as Alice Perkins, was the only person in the vehicle. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash but died from her injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
