Community Invited to Block Party in Downtown Elk City August 1

Elk City, OK – Elk City residents are invited to a community Block Party on Friday, August 1, from 5 to 9 p.m. in Downtown Elk City.

The main event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. and includes a meet and greet with local first responders. Elk City Fire and EMS will have trucks and props on display, while the Elk City Police Department will showcase patrol vehicles and a “smash car” demonstration.

The evening will also feature live music, food trucks, inflatables for kids, and free t-shirts while supplies last.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to support Help Inc. in their “Fill a Cop Car” campaign.

The event is free and open to the public.
