The Penny News 577

Clinton, OK — After nearly five years leading Clinton Public Schools, Superintendent Tyler Bridges is moving on. The Stillwater Board of Education voted during a special April 15 meeting to hire Bridges as the next Superintendent of Stillwater Public Schools.

Bridges returned to Clinton in 2020 after previously serving as Assistant Superintendent. During his tenure as superintendent, the district saw growth in student achievement, increased grant funding, and the successful passage of capital improvement plans that enhanced programs, transportation, and technology.

Under his leadership, Clinton also expanded after-school and summer learning opportunities, improved health and wellness resources, and focused heavily on long-term sustainability and student-centered spending.

Bridges will begin his new role on July 1.

The Clinton Board of Education has not yet announced details on the search for his replacement.
