SWOSU Press Release

Weatherford, OK – The Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) Foundation, Inc. (SWOSUF) is an independent 501 (c) 3 organization which has partnered with SWOSU since 1977. SWOSUF is governed by an independent Board of Trustees—all of whom are SWOSU alumni—and is operated by the SWOSU Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) pursuant to a reciprocal Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between SWOSU and SWOSUF which is reviewed annually by the two entities. The SWOSU Alumni Association and the SWOSU Athletic Association are both subsidiaries of SWOSUF.

Among its multiple functions and roles, SWOSUF stewards hundreds of distinct scholarship funds created by private funds entrusted to SWOSU. These funds are intended to provide scholarship support to SWOSU students.

The SWOSUF Scholarship Application for SWOSU Academic Year 2025-2026 is now available by clicking here. The link will permit access to SWOSUF’s Scholarships program management software, Foundant.

SWOSU students who do not already have an active Foundant account will need to create a New User Account prior to completing and submitting the application. Creation of an account with Foundant and the subsequent completion of the related SWOSUF Scholarships Application is required for any SWOSU student seeking to be considered for SWOSUF Scholarships in Academic Year 2025-2026.

Priority review for potential awards will be given to SWOSUF Scholarships Applications completed and submitted by 5:00 p.m. on March 9, 2025.

Please note that the information transmitted herein references SWOSUF Scholarships, not SWOSU Scholarships.

Questions may be directed to Ms. Robbin Jennings, SWOSU OIA Stewardship & Services Coordinator, at 580-774-3793, robbin.jennings@swosu.edu.

SWOSUF is truly grateful to the thousands of private donor-investors that make this support of SWOSU students possible.
