Elk City Man Arrested on Domestic Abuse and Obstruction Charges

The Penny News 351

A 30-year-old Elk City man is being held in the Beckham County Detention Center on charges of second and subsequent domestic abuse and obstruction.

The investigation began on December 23 when Sayre Police were notified of an alleged domestic assault reportedly in progress.

Upon arrival, law enforcement observed a female who appeared to be bleeding.

The defendant, identified as Kamron Bart Harrison, had allegedly been asked to leave the Sayre residence prior to the incident. After police arrived, officers reportedly found sufficient evidence to believe Harrison had committed domestic assault.

Officers attempted to take Harrison into custody, but he reportedly resisted arrest.

Harrison's next court date is scheduled for January 27.
