Elk City Man Arrested on Multiple Felony Charges

A local man has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies following a reported incident of sexual assault and burglary. 27-year-old Colton Alan King was taken into custody by Elk City Police on November 22 at his place of employment.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the suspect allegedly entered a residence without permission, where the victim claimed he proceeded to commit acts of violence. Authorities state that the victim contacted the police shortly after the incident, providing detailed statements and evidence, which led to King's arrest.

King faces charges including first-degree rape, forcible sodomy, and first-degree burglary.

King was transported to the Beckham County Detention Center. A preliminary hearing conference is scheduled for January 27, 2025.
