Cordell Chamber of Commerce to Host 37th Annual Pumpkin Festival on Saturday

Cordell, Oklahoma – The Cordell Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of its 37th Annual Pumpkin Festival, set for Saturday, October 12, 2024. This family-friendly event will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, promising a day packed with fun activities, contests, and delicious food for all ages.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of exciting events, including a loud exhaust contest, a kid zone, a car show, and a thrilling burnout contest. A parade will kick off the festivities, with other highlights such as the pumpkin pancake breakfast and a baking contest that is sure to bring out the best bakers in town.

Food lovers will have plenty of options, from traditional favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs, and funnel cakes to unique offerings such as acai bowls, smoothies, frog legs, and shrimp. Whether you’re craving loaded fries, Indian tacos, or fried pickles, there’s something for everyone. Beverages like coffee, shaved ice, and Italian ice will also be available.
