Flu Vaccine Drive-Thru Coming to Elk City Convention Center

The Penny News 1719

Elk City, OK – The Beckham County Health Department will host a Drive-Thru Flu Shot clinic on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Elk City Convention Center, located at 1016 Airport Industrial Rd. in Elk City.

This convenient drive-thru clinic allows community members to receive their flu vaccination without leaving their vehicles. Appointments are not required, and vaccines will be available while supplies last at no out-of-pocket cost.

“Flu vaccination is one of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones during flu season,” said Debra Johnson, Regional Administrative Director. “By offering this drive-thru format, we’re making it as easy as possible for Beckham County residents to get protected.”

Flu vaccination is recommended annually for everyone six months of age and older. When more people are vaccinated, there is less opportunity for the flu to spread in families, schools, and throughout the community. High-dose flu vaccines will be available for individuals 65 years and older.

Attendees are encouraged to wear a short-sleeved shirt, bring their insurance card and ID, and follow the signs and staff directions.
