Elk City, OK – A man wanted on multiple felony warrants out of Canadian County was taken into custody Thursday, Oct. 1, after barricading himself inside a trailer at an Elk City residence.
Brian Schoshke was arrested after officers with the Elk City Police Department located him using information provided by the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office and a local citizen.
According to police, Schoshke barricaded himself inside the trailer and refused officers’ commands to surrender. Officers eventually deployed a chemical agent, prompting Schoshke to surrender peacefully.
Schoshke was wanted on felony warrants involving drug trafficking, possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy and grand larceny.
Schoshke was taken into custody following the incident. No injuries were reported in the information provided.
