The Oct. 9 deadline also applies to currently registered voters who need to update their registration. Voters who have changed their name or moved to another county must submit a new voter registration application.
Eligible residents can register online through the OK Voter Portal or submit a paper voter registration application. Paper applications may be submitted to a county election board or an authorized voter registration agency.
Applications sent by mail must be postmarked no later than Oct. 9. Applications delivered in person must be received by the appropriate election officials by Oct. 9.
Voters are encouraged to check their registration information and make any necessary changes before the deadline to ensure they are eligible to cast a ballot in Oklahoma’s Nov. 3 general election.
