The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) announced last week the arrest of Eric Little Mchan, a 43-year-old man from Burns Flat, who was wanted in connection with multiple rape charges in Washita County.

In a Facebook post, OHP stated that Mchan was apprehended in Michigan on Saturday in a joint effort involving the Washita County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Service. Mchan was located after missing his court date in September.

Initially arrested on these charges in February, Mchan had been released on bond following a preliminary hearing in July. According to court records, Mchan faces serious charges, including three counts of rape.

His next court date has not yet been scheduled.
