Cordell, OK – Oklahoma House Democratic Leader and gubernatorial candidate Cyndi Munson will make a campaign stop in Cordell on Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Munson will host a community meet-and-greet from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Washita Theatre, 111 S. Market St. in Cordell.

The event will give area residents an opportunity to meet Munson, ask questions and hear about her campaign for governor. According to her campaign, the Cordell stop is part of a series of meet-and-greet events being held across Oklahoma.

Munson has served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives since 2015 and currently serves as House Democratic leader. She is the Democratic nominee for governor in the November general election.

According to Munson's campaign, the Cordell event will focus on her vision for Oklahoma and issues she has identified as priorities during her campaign.

Munson will face Republican nominee Mike Mazzei and independent candidates Orlando Lynn Bush, Robert E. Brooks Sr. and Jerry Griffin in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
