Elk City, OK – The Elk City Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners from Saturday’s Rodeo Parade, with local businesses, schools, organizations, churches and individuals earning honors in several categories.
In the Commercial division, Sigma Bar-S took first place, Stockman’s Vet Clinic finished second and C-6 Operating placed third.
The Antique Vehicle category was won by the Pennington Family, followed by The Rio Vintage Market & Mercantile in second and Oooh La La, Gayle Noreuil in third.
Elk City Middle School Cheerleaders took first place in the School/School Organizations category. Elk City High School Football placed second, while Merritt FFA finished third.
In the Beauty Pageant division, Ashton Cockrell, Cheyenne Arapaho Old Settlers Queen, earned first place. Bailey Gossen, Miss Elk City Teen, placed second, and Miss Washita County Queens finished third.
Kerosene Cowgirls won the Riding Club category. Thompson Carriages & Red Hills Express took second, followed by Donna Sue Perry in third.
Elk City Carnegie Library, Hooked on Books, took first place among Clubs and Organizations. Western Oklahoma Alzheimer’s Collaborative placed second, and AM Creative Studio finished third.
Christ Lutheran Church earned first place in the Church category, followed by One Church in second and Primera Iglesia Hispana in third.
Ashton Cockrell, Cheyenne Arapaho Old Settlers Queen, was also recognized for Best Themed Float.
Elk City Middle School Cheerleaders received the award for Best School Themed Float.
In the Best Window Decor competition, The Attic Door took first place, 580 Threads finished second and Christie’s Thrift Store placed third.
The winners were provided by the Elk City Chamber of Commerce following Saturday’s parade.
