Absentee Ballot Deadline Approaching for Oklahoma Runoff Primary Election

Oklahoma City, OK – The deadline for requesting an Absentee Ballot for the August 25, 2026, Runoff Primary Election is Monday, August 10, 2026, at 5 p.m.

Registered voters may apply for an absentee ballot online or download an application at www.ok.gov/elections. Applications may also be obtained from your local County Election Board office. Completed applications must be submitted online, by fax, by mail, or in person to your County Election Board by the deadline.

Early voting for the election will be held Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, August 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at your local County Election Board office. There is no early voting on Monday prior to the election.

On Tuesday, August 25, voters should cast their ballots at their regular polling place. If you have questions about your voter registration or polling location, visit www.ok.gov/elections or contact your local County Election Board.

A valid proof of identity is required for both early voting and voting at your polling place.
