Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma residents who plan to vote in the August 25 Run-Off Primary Election must register to vote or submit a voter registration application by Friday, July 31.

To be eligible, applications must be received by the appropriate county election board or postmarked by the July 31 deadline. Applications submitted after that date will not be processed until after the August 25 election.

Eligible applicants must be United States citizens, Oklahoma residents, and at least 17 1/2 years old to register. However, voters must be at least 18 years old to cast a ballot.

Residents who have moved to a different Oklahoma county or moved to Oklahoma from another state must complete a new voter registration application. Those who have moved within the same county can update their address through the Oklahoma Voter Portal or by submitting a voter registration application.

Voter registration applications are available through county election boards, most tag agencies, public libraries, post offices, and other official voter registration agencies. Once an application is approved, voters will receive a Voter Identification Card by mail.
