Weatherford, OK – Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) awarded 670 degrees to 611 students following the Spring 2026 semester. The commencement ceremonies took place in May at the Pioneer Event Center on the Weatherford campus.
The Spring 2026 graduates completed associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs through SWOSU’s locations in Weatherford, Sayre, and Yukon. Their degrees represent a wide range of academic areas, including health sciences, education, business, arts and sciences, and other fields that prepare students for careers throughout Oklahoma and beyond.
For many students, graduation is the completion of years of hard work, dedication, and support from family, friends, faculty, and staff. At SWOSU, that support is part of a close campus community where students are known by name and encouraged to grow throughout their time at the university.
With more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs, SWOSU provides students with opportunities to prepare for meaningful careers that meet Oklahoma’s workforce demands while receiving the personal support of a regional university with deep roots in Oklahoma.
