Democratic Candidate for Oklahoma Governor Cyndi Munson to Visit Elk City Thursday

The Penny News 1436

Elk City, OK – Residents of Western Oklahoma will have an opportunity to meet Democratic gubernatorial nominee Cyndi Munson during a campaign stop in Elk City this week.

Munson will host a meet and greet from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, at 580 Threads, located at 105 N. Main Street in Elk City.

The event is open to the public and will give attendees the opportunity to visit with Munson about her campaign for governor, hear her vision for Oklahoma, and discuss issues affecting communities across the state.

Munson secured the Democratic nomination in June and is advancing to the November 3 general election to succeed term-limited Gov. Kevin Stitt. She is expected to face the winner of the Republican runoff between Gentner Drummond and Mike Mazzei, which is scheduled for August. Three independent candidates have also qualified for the general election ballot.

Supporters and community members are encouraged to stop by, ask questions, and learn more about Munson's campaign and priorities ahead of what is expected to be one of Oklahoma's most closely watched statewide races this year.
