One Injured in Washita County Rollover Crash

Burns Flat, OK – An 18-year-old Sayre man was injured Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle rollover crash in Washita County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 8:52 a.m. on June 24 at the intersection of E. 1140 Road and N. 2130 Road, about one mile west of Burns Flat.

Troopers reported that the driver, identified as Braden L. Wood, 18, of Sayre, was traveling when his vehicle departed the roadway to the left, struck a dirt embankment, and rolled one time before coming to rest broadside.

Wood was reported injured in the crash. No passengers were in the vehicle.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol also reported that a seat belt was not in use at the time of the collision.

The crash remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
