Mangum, OK — A 20-year-old former paraprofessional at Mangum High School was arrested Tuesday on a felony charge of second-degree rape following allegations of inappropriate sexual contact with multiple students.

Callie Warboys was taken into custody on June 23 and charged with one count of second-degree rape, according to court documents. Her first court appearance is scheduled for Thursday.

The case came to light on March 31 when a Greer County sheriff’s deputy was approached by a Mangum student reporting alleged misconduct between Warboys and several students. During the subsequent investigation, the deputy interviewed four male students.

One student told investigators he had sexual intercourse with Warboys more than 10 times beginning in January 2025, when he was 16 and she was 19. The deputy reported viewing a social media message containing explicit content exchanged between the two.

A second student reported having sexual contact with Warboys while he was 16, and the deputy observed suggestive messages between them.

A third student denied any sexual relationship but was found to have exchanged multiple explicit photos and messages with Warboys online, according to the deputy.

The fourth student did not report any inappropriate relationship.

Warboys denied having any inappropriate relationships with the students during an interview with investigators, court records state.

If convicted, Warboys could face up to 15 years in prison.

Mangum Public Schools officials stated that Warboys was dismissed from her position following the report of misconduct.
