Weatherford Man Seriously Injured in Caddo County Rollover

Caddo County, OK – A 40-year-old Weatherford man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash early Friday morning approximately eight miles south of Carnegie, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 5:33 a.m. on June 19 along Highway 58 south of County Road 1400 in Caddo County.

Troopers reported the vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 58 when it left the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail. The vehicle continued along the guardrail before colliding with a concrete drainage culvert. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn.

According to the OHP report, the driver was ejected from the vehicle and became pinned beneath the cab.

The driver's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

A passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash but was not reported injured.

Investigators noted that seat belts were not in use by all occupants.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
