Sayre, OK — Western Technology Center is currently accepting applications for two open positions, including a year-round maintenance and transportation role at its Sayre campus.

Sayre Site Director Christy Glasscock said the school is seeking a maintenance, custodial, and bus driver employee who can assist with a variety of duties throughout the year.

"We currently have a maintenance custodial bus driver kind of jack-of-all-trades opening right now," Glasscock said. "It's a 12-month position."

The position is a full-time, year-round role with working hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. While students may be out of class during the summer months, Glasscock noted that the campus remains busy.

"Especially during the summer, we have lots of summer projects going on," she said.

Applicants with a bus driving certification are preferred for the position.

Western Technology Center is also hiring a Health Careers Instructional Aide. The employee selected for that role will divide their time between the Sayre and Burns Flat campuses.

Anyone interested in either position can apply online by visiting westtech.edu and selecting the Employment section. Glasscock said applicants are also welcome to call the school if they need assistance with the application process or have questions about the openings.

"We're always welcome to walk them through if they have any questions," she said.

Both positions are available immediately.
