Elk City Police Department Investigating Reported Assault at Elk City Lake

Elk City, OK – The Elk City Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is investigating an incident reported at Elk City Lake involving the reported assault of an individual who was allegedly left alone at the scene.

According to information released by the Elk City Police Department, detectives are actively seeking information from the public that may help identify individuals or provide additional details related to the case.

Authorities stated no further details are being released at this time in order to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity, has surveillance footage, or may have information related to the incident is encouraged to contact Captain Sammy Weygand with the Elk City Police Department.
