Elk City, OK – Two separate Internet Crimes Against Children investigations conducted by the Elk City Police Department Criminal Investigations Division have resulted in guilty pleas and lengthy prison sentences for two offenders.
The sentencing information was first reported publicly by the Elk City Police Department through a Facebook post released this week.
According to the department, the investigation involving Mickey Ezell began in April 2025 and led to multiple felony convictions involving crimes against children. Ezell received several 20-year prison sentences for offenses including lewd or indecent proposals to a child under 16, possession of child pornography, procuring for prostitution, and violations involving the use of a computer to commit crimes against children.
Ezell also received a life sentence for child sexual abuse, with all but the first 20 years suspended. Additional convictions included soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor by use of technology and further charges involving child pornography and computer-related offenses.
A separate ICAC investigation involving Andrew Martinez began in December 2024. Martinez was sentenced to 25 years for first-degree rape, with all but the first 10 years suspended. He also received a 10-year sentence for soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor.
The Elk City Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is a participating agency in the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
In its statement, the department commended investigators, partner agencies, and the Beckham County District Attorney’s Office for their dedication and work on the cases.
