SWOSU Names Charles & Mary Abercrombie Scholar

Weatherford, OK – Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) has selected Eli Goodman as the Charles & Mary Abercrombie Scholar for the 2025- 2026 academic year.

Goodman is from Vernon, Texas, and is studying pharmacy at SWOSU.

The late Charles Abercrombie of Amarillo, Texas, and his wife, Mary Campbell Abercrombie, established the scholarship fund in 2015 to benefit deserving students from western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle who are majoring in Pharmacy.

The Charles & Mary Abercrombie Scholarship Fund is stewarded by the SWOSU Foundation, Inc. The Foundation was established in 1977 to promote philanthropy, award scholarships, and distribute funds to support the activities and programs of SWOSU.
