Burglary at Elk City store results in theft of 12 firearms

Elk City, OK — The Elk City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect following a burglary that resulted in the theft of multiple firearms.

The burglary occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Totally Outdoors, 119 N. Main St. According to police, 12 firearms were stolen during the incident.

Authorities said all of the stolen firearms have been entered into the system as stolen, and serial numbers are on file.

The firearms reported stolen include two Smith & Wesson SD9 2.0 9mm pistols, four Taurus G3 9mm pistols, one FN 502 .22 caliber pistol, one Smith & Wesson M&P 10mm pistol, one Taurus G3C 9mm pistol, one Sig Sauer P365 9mm pistol, and two Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm pistols.

Investigators have obtained video footage from two cameras inside the store. While the suspect has not been identified, police said the footage may help someone recognize the individual based on clothing, movements, or other characteristics.

The Elk City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations division is handling the case.
