Elk City Teen Injured In Washita County Rollover

Washita County, OK — An 18-year-old Elk City driver was injured in a rollover crash early Saturday morning in Washita County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at 5:13 a.m. on State Highway 55 just west of County Road 2100.

According to OHP, the driver, identified as Nevaeh Marie Espinoza, was traveling east when the vehicle left the roadway to the right, entered a broadside and overturned approximately one and one-quarter times.

Espinoza was transported by ground ambulance to Cordell Memorial Hospital and is expected to be transferred to OU Medical Center for further treatment.

Troopers reported she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. No passengers were in the vehicle.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
