Two Sentenced in Collingsworth County District Court Cases

Collingsworth County, TX – Two defendants were sentenced in separate cases in Collingsworth County following pleas entered in January and February 2026 in the 100th Judicial District Court.

District Attorney Luke Inman and Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle prosecuted the cases for the State of Texas. Judge Dale Rabe Jr. presided.

Alfred Ronald Fraser III, 33, of Wellington, was sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading to the second-degree felony offense of sexual assault of a child. Fraser was arrested by Matt Ferguson of the Texas Department of Public Safety for an offense that occurred Oct. 4, 2024. A Collingsworth County grand jury indicted Fraser on June 5, 2025.

In addition to the prison sentence, Fraser was ordered to pay $376 in court costs and must register as a sex offender for life.

In a separate case, Mary Lou Beebe, 42, of Wellington, was placed on two years of probation after pleading to the third-degree felony offense of assault on a public servant. Beebe was arrested by Collingsworth County Deputy Kristen Dwight for an offense that occurred March 28, 2025. A grand jury indicted Beebe on June 6, 2025.

Beebe was ordered to pay a $500 fine, $450 in attorney fees and $376 in court costs. If her probation is revoked, she faces up to 10 years in prison.
