Preview: Elk City Board of Education Regular Meeting

On Monday, the Elk City Board of Education will hold its regular November meeting. Highlights include the Superintendent’s Financial Report, along with board consideration of the 2025-2026 school calendar, the 2025 Regular Board Meeting Schedule, and the appointment of Demerie Chervenka as an adjunct for Health/Physical Education. Another point of discussion is the potential adoption of The Night in Question (An Agathas Mystery) for High School English Language Arts.

The board is also set to vote on new hires for the 2024-2025 school year, including positions such as paraprofessionals, custodians, and a high school secretary.

Superintendent updates will cover district news, enrollment data, and upcoming events.

Tonight's meeting at the Elk City School Board Office is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
