Public Works Operator Job in Geary, Oklahoma

The City of Geary is seeking applicants for a full-time Public Works Operator position. This employment opportunity involves skilled and semi-skilled work maintaining City streets and Geary's gas, water and sewer systems.

Public Works Operator Duties and Requirements

Responsibilities include road repair, street maintenance, excavation and earthwork, utility system maintenance, and operating City vehicles and equipment. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass both a background check and drug test.

Heavy Equipment and CDL Experience Preferred

Preference will be given to applicants with experience operating backhoes, mini excavators and other heavy equipment. Applicants who currently hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) will receive top preference.
