On July 26, 2024, a Sayre woman was arrested after allegedly selling nearly 90 grams of methamphetamine to an undercover agent from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics. Ashley Dawn Roddy, 39, faces charges of distributing drugs and drug trafficking in Beckham County. Her bond is set at $100,000.

Hobart Daycare Employees Charged with Child Neglect

On July 25, 2024, two daycare employees in Hobart were charged with child neglect following an OSBI investigation. Pamela Siesser, 40, and Crystal Edmundson, 43, were employees at the Community Action Development Corporation Head Start facility. Arrest warrants have been issued for both individuals.

Man with Clinton Ties Shot in OKC

On July 24, 2024, Gary Andrew Westrick, a 2010 Clinton High School graduate, was shot and killed at a home in Oklahoma City. Police arrested Tony Lee Servantes, 39, who is charged with first-degree murder. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
